House Rules Alpin Royal Casino

Access

  • Before entering the Alpin Royal Casino, all guests must identify themselves using an official form of ID.
  • Only official photo IDs that authorise entry to Liechtenstein will be accepted.
  • At the access control point, a check is carried out against the national exclusion register.
  • The duty manager on shift is authorised to refuse entry to individuals or escort guests from the casino without stating reasons, if it appears appropriate to them.

Minimum age

  • Access to the casino during opening hours is permitted upon reaching the age of 18, specifically from the day of the 18th birthday at the earliest.

Clothing

  • A strictly fixed dress code has been deliberately avoided. To suit the atmosphere of our casino, guests are asked to dress in «smart casual» or «casual».
  • Headwear is prohibited for safety reasons. Headwear with a religious background is exempt from this prohibition.
  • The Alpin Royal Casino reserves the right to refuse entry to anyone wearing inappropriate attire. Inappropriate attire is understood to mean clothing that is, for example, unclean or conveys an overtly aggressive message.
  • Large bags, rucksacks, suitcases (including briefcases) and similar items as well as umbrellas are not permitted in the gaming area, or are only permitted with the prior, express consent of the duty manager on duty.
  • Guests are requested to leave their jackets and coats at the cloakroom for the duration of their stay.

Participation in the game

  • Only persons who are in full possession of their mental faculties, meaning they are neither obviously intoxicated or confused, nor under the influence of drugs, are allowed to take part in the game.

Rules of the game

  • The rules of the individual live games offered at the Alpin Royal Casino are available free of charge.
  • For an explanation of the game or the rules of play for our range of slot machines, our hosts are always happy to help.

Safety

  • Guests are requested not to leave the gaming table and/or the slot machine until any winnings have been paid out or there is no longer any credit left on the machine.
  • Gaining an unfair advantage will be penalized.
  • All areas of the Alpin Royal Casino Schaan, particularly the gaming room, are continuously monitored by video cameras for the safety of guests and employees. The recordings are stored for 45 days.
  • Management reserves the right to subject guests to a search if deemed appropriate. The most suitable method for the search will be used in each case. This security measure is taken exclusively for the protection and peace of mind of all guests and staff members. For personal searches by pat-down, gender will be taken into account.
  • The Alpin Royal Casino Schaan accepts no liability for valuables or items left unattended. Machine reservations are generally only possible for a short period of time (e.g. for a trip to the restroom or to exchange money) and must be reported to the staff in advance.

Photography and filming

  • Filming and photography are only permitted in consultation with the management.
  • If guest groups wish to take a photo to document their stay, the Duty Manager decides whether this is permitted, taking into account the volume of guests. Their decision is final.
  • If taking a photograph during operation is permitted, it must always be ensured that no other guests are visibly recognisable in the image (data protection).

Excessive gaming

  • Should a guest have concerns regarding their gambling behaviour, both the Duty Manager and the person entrusted with the social concept are available for a confidential consultation.
  • Guests who wish to have a conversation can direct their request to any member of staff, who will then inform the relevant people.

  • All guests are free to have themselves excluded from play for a specific period of time (self-exclusion) or to limit their visits as part of a «visit agreement».
  • Relevant information leaflets are available for free collection in easily accessible locations throughout the Alpin Royal Casino.

Laws

  • Bets involving stakes on a credit basis or announced bets are prohibited.
  • Announcements at the roulette tables are permitted.
  • Every bet must be covered. That is, guests must purchase casino chips prior to placing a bet.
  • Gaming chips other than those issued by Alpin Royal Casino Schaan or officially accepted by Alpin Royal Casino will not be recognised as stakes and/or for exchange into the establishment's own gaming chips.
  • Casino chips from the Alpin Royal Casino Schaan are worthless outside the casino.

Currency

  • At Alpin Royal Casino, Swiss Francs (CHF) is the only currency accepted for play.
  • The management of Alpin Royal Casino Schaan defines the foreign currencies approved for exchange into CHF. The exchange rates are adjusted daily and displayed clearly to the guest at the cash desks.

Cheques

  • Cheques as a means of payment, or for the purchase of play equipment, are not accepted.

Credit

  • The granting of credit by the Alpin Royal Casino is excluded.
  • Likewise, lending money between guests is strictly forbidden. Infringements may be sanctioned.

Deposit

  • Alpin Royal Casino Schaan does not offer its guests storage for gaming tokens or cash.
  • The transport of high winnings, e.g. a jackpot win, can be arranged by a security company upon the guest's request. The Alpin Royal Casino Schaan is very happy to organise this.

Anti-money laundering due diligence

  • The Alpin Royal Casino is committed to the strict implementation of international efforts to prevent money laundering and the financing of terrorism.
  • The requirements of the Liechtenstein Due Diligence Act (SPG) and the associated ordinances, as well as the in-house due diligence policy, are strictly implemented and enforced.
  • Guests are requested to assist if contacted by the casino staff.
  • The Alpin Royal Casino expressly does not issue confirmations regarding any gambling winnings.

Opening times

  • The Alpin Royal Casino is open daily from 11:00 to 04:00.
  • The live game area is open from Monday – Thursday from 18:00 until at least 02:30.
    and open from Friday to Sunday every week from 16:00.
  • The Alpin Royal Casino points out that when leaving the casino, guests are in a public area and consequently must comply with the usual regulations, particularly in connection with observing the night-time quiet period. Specifically, the Alpin Royal Casino asks its guests to observe the night-time quiet period between 23:00 and 06:00.

  • Only games of chance that are permitted under the Liechtenstein Gambling Ordinance are offered.

Drugs and other prohibited substances

  • The consumption, sale and/or gratuitous distribution of illegal drugs and other prohibited substances is prohibited on all premises of the Alpin Royal Casino.
  • Offenders will be reported to the police.

Food and drink

  • Food and drink from outside are not permitted in the reception area or the play area.
  • Deliveries of ordered food may be received by reception and served to guests at their seats by the hosts.
  • Food and drink purchased in the casino must not be taken outside. In exceptional cases, the duty manager may transfer the drink into a disposable cup and grant permission to take it away.

Pets

  • Bringing (pet) animals into the public areas of the Alpin Royal Casino is not permitted.

The management
